Clarksville Police are Requesting Assistance Identifying Burglary Suspect in Video

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On December 2nd, 2011, around 9:15am, a woman’s Chevy Tahoe was burglarized within seconds after she got out of the vehicle to go inside of the business at the 700 Block of Riverside Drive. You can see in the video the male did not waste any time entering her unlocked vehicle after the driver exited.

He took the woman’s purse, cell phone, and some paperwork from inside of the vehicle. The male was described as a white male, short around 5 ft tall, thin, brown hair.

The vehicle was silver, unknown type vehicle, possible a late 199os or early 2000 model Buick Le Sabre. The vehicle turned left out of the business heading south toward the 41A bypass.

This clearly illustrates how quickly a vehicle can be entered and property removed when a vehicle is left unlocked.

Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPSLINE, 931.645.8477.

The lead investigator Debra Kolofsky.

  1. Sorry to say but this woman got what she deserved. I bet next time she leaves her valuables in the car she will utilize the door “locking” mechanism. Great technology which prevents crap like this from happening.

Dont be stupid like this woman people. Lock your doors cause in case you havent noticed, we live in a pretty sick world.
