Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled two water outages and road closures for Thursday, January 19th.
The first water outage and road closure will be on Jefferson Street from North Second Street to North Spring Street on Thursday morning from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Construction crews will be working at the intersections of Jefferson Street and North Second Street and Jefferson and North First Street to replace water valves and a fire hydrant. The outage will also affect North Second Street from College Street to Marion Street and North First Street from College to Beaumont Street.
The second outage will begin at 9:00pm Thursday evening on North Riverside Drive from McClure Street to North Spring Street. The outer, northbound lane of Riverside Drive will be closed to traffic while construction crews replace a fire hydrant near the Riverside Drive and McClure Street intersection. The work is expected to be complete and water restored by 2:00am Friday morning; however, the lane will remain closed until approximately 4:00am.
