Austin Peay State University Extended Education offers Spring Classes for 2012

Early Registration Discount on Selected Courses

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Develop a new skill, explore a new idea, learn a new language, or seek a new career with one of the spring classes from Austin Peay State University’s Center for Extended and Distance Education. Register early and receive a 10 percent discount on selected courses.

Preregistration is required for each course.

Languages

Spanish Language and Culture—Part 1 will meet from 6:00pm–8:00pm, Thursdays, March 1st–April 5th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 206. (course $152.00, supply $7.00)

ESL – Beginning Conversation will meet from 6:00pm–8:00pm, Mondays, March 12th–April 16th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 206. (course $150.00, supply $10.00)

ESL – TOEFL Preparation, Intermediate/Advanced will meet from 6:00pm–8:00pm, Mondays, March 12th–April 16th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 204. (course $150.00, supply $10.00)

Tennessee Small Business Development Center

Starting and Financing a Small Business will meet from 10:00am– noon, Tuesday, February 28th at ACS-ACAP Center, Fort Campbell, KY. (free)

Parenting, health and safety

American Heart Healthcare Provider CPR class will meet from 8:00am–3:00pm Saturday, March 3rd at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 203. (course $75.00)

Pharmacy Technician Certificate class will meet from 6:00pm–9:30pm, Mondays and Wednesdays, March 5th–June 11th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 219. (course $1099)

Phlebotomy Technician Certificate class will meet from 6:30pm-10:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 6th–April 19th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 219. (course $3275)

Parenting and Divorce, the court-mandated seminar for divorcing parents, will meet in Montgomery County from 9:00am–1:00pm, on Saturday, February 25th at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 203. (course $40.00, text $15.00)

The Center partners with Montgomery Rider Education Program in offering a motorcycle rider safety course. For more information or to register, contact the program director, Dee Gleason, at 931.648.2208 between 9:00am and 4:00pm, weekdays.
