Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans hired Jonathan Gannon as Defensive Assistant/Quality Control. Additionally, Arthur Smith, who was served as Defensive Assistant/Quality Control last year, will be Offensive Assistant/Quality Control this year.
Gannon joins the Titans after three years as a scout with the St. Louis Rams. Last year, he served as a Pro Scout for the Rams and was a college scout in his first two seasons with the team. Previous to his time as a scout, Gannon was the defensive quality control coach for the Atlanta Falcons in 2007.
The move for Smith gets him back to his offensive roots, where he played and coached the offense line at the University of North Carolina.
