Customs House Museum and Cultural Center Main Entrance closed for Sidewalk Repair

The Customs House Museum and Cultural CenterClarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is getting an upgrade. The 1898 Customs House Building is being renovated in order to provide an improved environment for both visitors and artifacts.

While these improvements are being made the following areas will be inaccessible: Heritage Hall, Memory Lane, and the DeWald, Peg Harvill, and Explorers’ Galleries.

* Starting Monday, March 12th, the main entrance to the Museum will be closed so that repairs to the sidewalk can be completed. During this time we ask that all visitors please use the back entrance located in the Museum’s parking lot.

The renovations on the 1898 building will began on January 30th and continue through March. There will still be plenty to see and do here at the Museum during this time, however. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a variety of exhibits.
