Clarksville Police want to make the Public Aware of Motorcycle Thefts working the area

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is trying to get the word out–Motorcycle Owners Beware! Clarksville Police have recently charged multiple individuals that were associated with the local motorcycle thefts. But, it did not take long for some other thieves to take their place.

There were six motorcycle stolen overnight. The targets seem to be apartment complexes, but they are not limited to one location.

There were three taken from apartments in the 3100 Block of Fort Campbell Boulevard, one from the 2800 Block of Cobalt Drive, one from the 2400 Block of Whitfield Road, and one from the 2600 Block of Union Hall Road.

Most likely the motorcycles are being loaded to a vehicle and removed. Suzuki GSXs seem to be popular models for theft.

Call 911 if you see any suspicious activity and any additional security which can be provided for the motorcycle could help deter thefts. Police are working leads, but it takes time to actually catch the thieves.
