Lauri Day Qualifies as Candidate for Tennessee State Representative District 74

Lauri Day has declared her self as a candidate for the Tennessee House of Representative in the 74th District which encompasses Humphreys, Houston and the western section of Montgomery County. She is an 18 year resident of Tennessee and has lived in Humphreys County for the last 10 years.

Day describes herself as a proud conservative who desires to serve the people of the 74th district with constitutional principles and the heart of a teacher.

It is her goal to empower the rural vote, to engage the citizens into local and state action and to serve the youth in the capacity of bringing the message of history, civic responsibilities and free market principles to light. Lauri has been busy over the past two years as a “citizen activist”, spending much time on Capitol Hill.

She is a member of Friendship World Outreach Church, The Black Robe Regiment, Humphreys County Republican Party, Humphreys County Tea Party, Tennessee Republican Assembly, Tennessee 9-12, ACT for America, Tennessee Right to Life, National Agenda 21 Coalition, FreedomWorks and the 7th District Coalition in Tennessee & more. She also speaks to groups in Tennessee about the topic of sustainable development.

Day is the Tennessee state coordinator for: Coalition for Educational Freedom and TEA for Education, and speaks in all counties in Tennessee on the topic of education. Lauri Day is a former home school parent and is still involved with the right to home school causes.

She  has been married to Eric Hildebrandt for the last 14 years; and together they one son (age 13), and another son (25) they helped raise. Since 1995 Lauri and her husband Eric have owned a small business together.
