Austin Peay men’s team had its Thursday match at Tennessee Tech canceled due to inclement weather. The Govs now turn their focus to a pair of pivotal home matches, beginning with the Tigers. Junior Sean Bailey and sophomore Jasmin Ademovic continue to lead the Govs at the top of the lineup, but head coach Malik Tabet has been impressed with development at the bottom.

Along with Bailey and Ademovic, freshmen Michal Hriciste and Dimitar Ristovski each have perfect 3-0 OVC marks. Freshman Aleksas Tverijonas, meanwhile was instrumental in the Govs picking up a 4-0 win against Southern Illinois at last week’s Sun Belt Shootout.

Tennessee State men’s tennis team is winless on the season, but has seen No. 1 Lawrence Washington post a three-match winning streak heading into Friday’s match. Washington has wins against Eastern Illinois’ Michael Sperry and Tennessee Tech’s Artem Tarasov.

Jacksonville State lost 5-2 to Tennessee Tech, April 1st, and will play at Murray State, Friday, before coming to Clarksville for a Saturday match.
