Fort Campbell, KY – In order make necessary renovations to expand services offered at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s (BACH) Town Center Pharmacy on Michigan Avenue, the pharmacy will be closed April 6th, 7th and 9th.
During these days, new and refill prescriptions may be picked up at BACH’s Main Outpatient Pharmacy located within the hospital.
“When the Town Center Pharmacy reopens April 10th, we will offer expanded hours for our beneficiaries’ convenience,” said Ridderhoff. In addition, the renovation will include the installation of new equipment valued at over $1.1 million to continue ensuring safety and efficiency of prescription processing.”
Patients will also have more flexible options for prescription drop off and pickup once the Town Center Pharmacy reopens. The pharmacy team anticipates that the drop off and pick up service options will not only improve wait times but ultimately improve patient satisfaction.
Once the Town Center Pharmacy reopens April 10th, they will remain open an additional hour during the weekdays from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Monday through Wednesday and Fridays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 6:00pm to accommodate required staff training and professional development. The Town Center Pharmacy will continue to remain open Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Beginning April 10th, the Main Outpatient Pharmacy within the hospital will close an hour earlier to allow a later opening at the Town Center, where the majority of prescriptions are filled. Hours at the Main Pharmacy will be from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Monday through Wednesday and Fridays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
