Part of TDOT Road Maintenance for Middle Tennessee
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation is doing maintenance long State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee.
In Montgomery County, there are a few projects planned along Interstate 24 from April 5th through April 11th.
On Thursday, April 5th and Monday April 9th through Wednesday April 11th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on Interstate 24 to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
I-24 – Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

On Thursday April 5th and Monday April 9th through Wednesday April 11th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties) and on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in (Robertson and Sumner Counties) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. (This will be a moving operation.)
Montgomery and Robertson Counties
On Thursday, April 5th and Monday April 9th through Wednesday April 11th, from 9:00am-12:00pm, there will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 25 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.
One lane will remain open.
