Clarksville Police Officers Presented Mayor’s Certificate Thursday night for their Actions on March 15th

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers were recognized for their decisive actions on Quicksilver Drive, by Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan at the City Council meeting held April 5th, 2012.

Sgt Andy Hagewood,  Officer James Eure, Officer Shawn Brown, and Officer Travis Baker were each presented with a Mayor’s Certificate which stated:

“In recognition and appreciation of your quick and decisive actions taken during a deadly force encounter on March 15th, 2012. The courage you displayed during and immediately following an armed confrontation with a homicide suspect was instrumental in preventing further harm to fellow officers and taking the suspect into custody without life threatening injury”.

“Your actions bring great credit upon yourself, The Clarksville Police Department, and The City of Clarksville, on behalf of The City Council, and The Citizens of Clarksville, I Mayor Kim McMillan extend the deepest gratitude of our citizens and recognize your courage as indicative of the men and women of law enforcement, who place service to others above themselves daily.  We are proud of your contributions to our community”.
