CDE Lightband Achieves Perfect Score On Safety Audit

Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband recently achieved a perfect score during a facilities safety audit coordinated by Tennessee Valley Public Power Association and Distributors Insurance Company.

Less than five percent of utility participants in the Tennessee Valley have obtained such a score historically.

The facilities audit, conducted in March, consisted of a visual inspection of each department facility, as well as remote work sites. Out of 260 items on the auditor’s checklist, not a single item was reported for noncompliance, resulting in the perfect score. The auditor commended the utility for the neat and orderly manner in which it maintains its facilities, vehicles and job sites.

CDE Lightband is a municipal electric and broadband services provider serving approximately 62,000 customers within the city limits of Clarksville, TN.
