Phil Cornett joins First Advantage Bank Mortgage Group

First Advantage BankClarksville, TN – First Advantage Bank has welcomed Phil Cornett as Mortgage Loan Originator. Cornett brings nearly 30 years of banking experience to the role, with specialties in residential and commercial real estate lending.

He will be responsible for an array of mortgage loan products, and will work out of the bank’s Mortgage Center at 933 Tracy Lane in Clarksville, TN.

Phil’s extensive and diverse lending background strengthens our team of experts and supports our position as a trusted financial partner and advisor,” said Earl Bradley, Chief Executive Officer for First Advantage Bank.

Cornett was most recently Mortgage Lending Manager with Superior Bank in Hendersonville, where he originated FHA, VA, conventional, rural housing and construction-to-permanent mortgage loans. His career includes various lending and management posts with GB&T Mortgage/Prime Lending/First Investment Co., Tennessee Teachers Credit Union, Oscar Mayer Inc., Century 21 Rivergate Realty, and Genesco Footwear/Genesco Employees Credit Association.

A Nashville native, Cornett earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from Columbia State Community College, and also attended the University of Tennessee.
