USAA Military Spouse Appreciation Week is May 7th-11th at Fort Campbell

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – For the first time since Austin Peay State University established the awards nearly two decades ago, the Most Outstanding Male and Female Athletes have come from the sport of tennis.

Junior Sean Bailey, who recently was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year in leading the Govs to the No. 2 seed in the OVC tournament, and Vanja Tomic, a three-time first-team All-OVC selection who owned an 19-6 record at No. 1 singles this year, have been named the 2011-12 Most Outstanding APSU Athletes.

NASA’s Cassini Spacecraft Sees Objects Blazing Trails in Saturn Ring

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space AdministrationPasadena, CA – Scientists working with images from NASA’s Cassini spacecraft have discovered strange half-mile-sized (kilometer-sized) objects punching through parts of Saturn’s F ring, leaving glittering trails behind them.

These trails in the rings, which scientists are calling “mini-jets,” fill in a missing link in our story of the curious behavior of the F ring. The results will be presented tomorrow at the European Geosciences Union meeting in Vienna, Austria.
