Austin Peay men’s golf team claimed the OVC Golfer of the Week eight times this season. Korte has won the award three times, while Iten and sophomore Trey Tarpley have each won it twice. This is the first such honor for Bradley. In head-to-head matchups, the Govs finished the regular season 29-0 against OVC teams.

“Marco and Anthony played great golf this week in some tough conditions,” head coach Kirk Kayden said. “They’ve been solid for us all year and it was a great way to end the regular season.”

Bradley and Iten finished tied for third over the weekend at Ball State’s Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, played at the Delaware Country Club, shooting three-over par 213 and helping the Govs climb to a second-place team finish. As a team, the Govs shot the tournament’s second-best round in the final 18 holes, largely due to even-par rounds from Bradley, Iten and junior Dustin Korte.

The sophomores have been instrumental in Austin Peay’s impressive regular season, including a fall capped by two tournament wins and a spring season with three second-place finishes. Bradley has consistently been one of the Govs top players, finishing as one of the two in eight of 10 events. Iten came on strong last week, carding back-to-back 70s to notch his third top-10 finish of the spring.
