Tennessee Titans take wideout Kendall Wright with the 20th pick of the NFL Draft

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans picked Baylor University’s wide receiver Kendall Wright with the 20th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Wright caught 198 passes for 1,663 yards in his senior year. He averaged 15.4 yards per catch and pulled in 14 touchdowns. What he lacks in size at 5’10” he makes up in speed to get down the field. At the combine, he ran the 40 yard dash in 4.61 seconds and showed a 38.5″ verticle leap.

His hometown is Pittsburg, TX where he attended Pittsburg High School. At Baylor, he is the all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

In his four years at Baylor, Wright accumulated 302 receptions for 4,004 yards and 30 touchdowns. He averaged 13.3 yards per reception with his longest play being a 87 yard touchdown against Oklahoma in 2011.

Kendall Wright has the potential to make an instant impact in the National Football League.
