Nashville Sounds open Four Game Homestand on Monday

Division-Leading Omaha Storm Chasers Visit Music City

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds return home to Greer Stadium this Monday, April 30th, to open a four-game homestand against the 2011 PCL Champion and division-rival Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals affiliate).

Highlighting the week’s worth of promotions will be a Dollar Hot Dog Night, Tornados Tuesday 2-For-1 Tickets, #WebWednesday, and Taco Bell Throwback Thursday.

Visiting Music City for the first time in 2012, the division-rival Omaha Storm Chasers currently sit in first place in the American Northern division and boast a share of the best record in Triple-A. The Storm Chasers recently swept the Sounds in a four-game series earlier this week in Omaha.

Monday’s series opener will begin at 7:05pm and will be Dollar Hot Dog Night, when hot dogs continue to be $1.00 at concession stands all night long. Gates open at 6:05pm.

The second game of the four-game series with the Storm Chasers on Tuesday evening will be Tornados Tuesday 2-For-1 Tickets. Fans can bring a receipt with proof of Tornado snack food purchase to the Sounds box office and receive two tickets for the price of one. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and gates open at 6:05pm.

The division-rivals continue their series with a 12:05pm matinee on Wednesday afternoon. As part of the new #WebWednesday promotion, Sounds email newsletter subscribers and social media followers will receive the “Steal Of The Week,” including cool prizes, special offers, and ticket discounts at Greer Stadium for Wednesday games.  Gates open at 11:05am.

The Sounds conclude their four-game homestand with the Storm Chasers on Taco Bell Throwback Thursday. This fun promotion features Sounds players wearing retro 1980s-style uniforms while fans enjoy concession stands filled with discounted pricing, such as $2.00 beer, $2.00 soft drinks, $2.00 hot dogs, $2.00 popcorn, and $2.00 nachos. Beer sales will conclude at the end of the 6th inning, while Slugger’s Sports Bar will sell until the end of game. Fans with Taco Bell receipts and college students with valid college IDs will receive $5.00 general admission tickets. Game time at 7:05pm and gates open at 6:05pm.

Following the homestand, Nashville will begin a four-game road trip against Albuquerque Isotopes (Dodgers affiliate) before returning to home on Tuesday, May 8th to host an eight-game homestand against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Rockies affiliate) and Reno Aces (Diamondbacks affiliate).
