Austin Peay State University to host Baseball Peay Pairings Party at Rafferty’s

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s athletics department will host a “Peay Pairings Party”, beginning 11:00am, Monday, at Rafferty’s on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The Peay Pairings Party is an open viewing party for Austin Peay fans, students and alumni, giving them an opportunity to meet, greet and watch the NCAA Baseball Championship selection show with the Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament champions. The selection show begins at 11:00am (CT), Monday on ESPNU.

Austin Peay became the first team to win both back-to-back regular-season and tournament titles in OVC history. The Govs also were the first team to lose their opening game in the OVC tournament and then go on to win the tournament crown, defeating Eastern Illinois twice as its pitching staff posted back-to-back shutouts in the championship round.
