Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy Graduates take Honors

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department has once again been able to showcase the quality of officers hired, by achieving a Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy first at their May 25th, 2012 graduation.

Officer Jesse Zumbro was the first person in the academy’s history to, singularly, take the Honor Graduate, Outstanding Officer, and Leadership awards.

He achieved the top overall score for academic and practical skills application and the highest academic score. While achieving all of this, he also had responsibility of being Class President.

A fellow officer, Marvin Johnson achieved top honors for physical fitness. Jeremy Fowler was selected to be a Group Leader. The academy graduates: Officers Jesse Zumbro, Marvin Johnson, Jeremy Fowler, Kellie Belgarde, and Jonathan Spoon are completing in-house training and will begin an intensive 14 week field training program in the first week of June.

After successful completion of the field training program, they will be assigned to one of the districts as patrol officers.
