Clarksville Department of Electricity report on last nights Storms

Clarksville Department of ElectricityClarksville, TN – Clarksville Department of Electricity says storms that moved through Clarksville last night were the cause of power outages that affected approximately 3,000 customers throughout town.

Three storms passed through Clarksville last night with the first one hitting around 8:00pm. High winds brought down tree limbs, with many taking down power lines and poles with them.

As of 7:30am this morning approximately 400 customers are still without power. Crews continue to work to restore power in the following areas: Dunlop Lane, Charlemagne, Hermitage Estates, Rosehill Estates, Highpoint Road, Lealand Drive, West Drive, West Court, Harold Drive, Fantasy Lane, Georgetown, Maplemere and Sugertree Subdivision.

If you see trees on lines or power lines down, please stay away and report them to CDE at 931.648.8151.
