Booth applications for Fright on Franklin now being accepted

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville would like to invite local businesses and organizations to participate in this year’s 4th Annual Fright on Franklin event, scheduled for Saturday, October 27th, 2012, in historic downtown Clarksville.

Fright on Franklin is an award-winning event for adults and kids of all ages and features safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, and much more! Last year’s free event brought over 4,000 people and we would love for your business or organization to be a part of it.

For those interested in participating, a free booth space including a 10×10 tent, 8’ table and 2 chairs will be provided.  All we ask of you is to decorate your booth space and provide goodies for trick-or-treaters beginning at 4:00pm. A moderate estimate for the number of goodies needed per booth: 2,000 pieces.

We encourage all participating booths to have fun with their space, to dress up, or even decorate with a theme. Prizes will be awarded to the top three best decorated booths! Advertisement handouts are allowed, however, booths may not sell items.

New this year, the Mayor’s Fitness Council will be recognizing participating booths by marking them with their logo. From those recognized, one booth will receive an award for “Best Healthy Option”.

If your business or organization is interested, pick up a form at the Parks & Recreation main office, located at 102 Public Square, or contact Niki Crowe at 931.645.7476 or niki.crowe@cityofclarksville.com. Spaces are filling up quickly; reserve your free booth today!

For a more information, please visit the City’s Parks & Recreation office or call 931.645.7476.
