Tennessee Titans Make Roster Changes to Get down to 75 Player Limit Sunday

Nashville, TN – In anticipation of tomorrow’s 75-player roster limit, the Tennessee Titans today made the following roster moves.

The team released 11 players, including:

QB Nick Stephens, RB Herb Donaldson, TE Joey Haynos, WR Laquinton Evans, WR Chase Deadder, WR Marcus Harris, OL William Vlachos, OL George Bias, OL Jonathan Palmer, S Christian Scott and K William Batson.

In addition, wide receiver/kick returner Marc Mariani was placed on injured reserve and rookie safety Markelle Martin was placed on Reserve/PUP. Mariani will not be eligible to return to the active roster this year and Martin can return to the active roster after the first six weeks of the season.

The team must trim its roster to the final 53-player limit by Sunday, September 2nd.
