“Let’s Find: Trees” at the Customs House Museum September 12th and 13th

The Customs House Museum and Cultural CenterClarksville, TN – On Wednesday September 12th and Thursday September 13th, from 10:30am–11:30am, children 3 – 5 years old and their grown-ups are invited to explore the Customs House Museum from a child’s perspective.

This month we will be looking for trees in the exhibit, Tennessee Watercolor Society: Selections from the Biennial Exhibition. We will also read a story and make a craft.

This activity is free to Museum Members.Non-members pay the regular adult admission of $7.00, plus $2.00 per child. Siblings are always welcome.

The 33rd Tennessee Watercolor Society Traveling Biennial Exhibition is on display in the Museum’s Heritage Hall gallery. The Artists’ work spans a variety of subjects and styles, from Leslie Dulin’s non-representational abstract Patina to Judy Lavoie’s photo-realistic Jerry Van, Music Man.

Guests will also be able to enjoy Tuva Stephens’ piece Tiggy! featuring our very own residential green iguana diva.

The Tennessee Watercolor Society Traveling Biennial Exhibition can be seen from 10:00am-5:00pm until September 20th, 2012.
