APSU Sports: Austin Peay Basketball
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Governors Club is sponsoring the Basketball Bash, beginning 6:00pm, Friday, October 19th, at the Bud Barn on the Charles Hand Farm.
Formerly known as the Austin Peay basketball fundraiser, Bash tickets are $40.00 each, must be bought in advance. All proceeds from the event will benefit both the Governors and Lady Govs basketball programs.
Social hour begins at 6:00pm followed by a grilled steak and chicken dinner. In addition, an auction will occur plus a corn hole competition between the coaching staffs, their respective spouses and selected Governors Club members.
Govs head coach Dave Loos along with Lady Govs head coach Carrie Daniels and their respective staffs will begin serving the dinner, which also includes homemade desserts, at 7:00pm.
Daddy Sam, a band popular in the Clarksville area, is the featured entertainment for the evening.
Tickets can be purchased at the Austin Peay Athletic department (931.221.7903), from any of the basketball coaches or from various Governors Club members.
