Clarksville Police Union’s “Clothe A Child” program gives nearly 100 Children a Shopping Spree

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Union, comprised of local law enforcement officers, sponsored approximately 100 children for the Clothe A Child Program. The names of the children were submitted to the Police Union for the shopping spree through various organizations.

The funds for programs like the Clothe A Child Program come from the generosity of the local community.

The Police Union spent close to $10,000 on the shopping extravaganza.

Officers were on hand to help the families shop and were rewarded at the end of the day with the smiling faces of the young shoppers and their parents.

Many of the children hugged the officers and gave them thank you cards.
