Austin Peay Basketball Bash this Friday

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Governors Club is sponsoring the Basketball Bash, beginning 6:00pm, Friday, at the Bud Barn on the Charles Hand Farm.

Tickets for the annual Austin Peay basketball fundraiser are $40.00 each and must be purchased in advance. All proceeds for the event benefit both the Governors and Lady Govs basketball programs. Tickets can be bought from Governors Club board members as well as from both basketball staffs.

Social hour begins at 6:00pm followed by a grilled steak and chicken dinner. In addition, an auction will occur plus a corn hole competition between the coaching staffs, their respective spouses and selected Governors Club members. A silent auction is planned with items including SEC and Titans football tickets, along with Austin Peay basketball memorabilia.

Govs head coach Dave Loos along with Lady Govs head coach Carrie Daniels and their respective staffs will begin serving the dinner, which also includes homemade desserts, at 7:00pm.

Daddy Sam, a band popular in the Clarksville area, is the featured entertainment for the evening.
