Middle College High School at Austin Peay student wins Tennessee School Boards Association Student Video Contest

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemClarksville, TN – A Clarksville-Montgomery County Middle College student video, “You don’t know me yet, but thanks to public education you will,” has been chosen as the winner of 2012 Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) Student Video Contest, Tell us how public education prepares Tennessee students for the future.

The contest was designed to give the education leaders and community members of Tennessee a sneak peek at the positive effects public education has on the students of today.

“Students at the Middle College High School at Austin Peay produced a first-rate video clip emphasizing what public education means to them. We commend the students and CMCSS for this achievement,” said Tammy Grissom, TSBA Executive Director.

TSBA will recognize the Clarksville Montgomery County School System, Middle College students and principal, Ms. Melissa Champion-Emerson, with more than $5,200 of interactive teaching and learning technology from eInstruction. The technology includes an Insight 360™, Mobi 360™, and Pulse 360™ 32 pad classpack and one day training.

The prize will be presented at the TSBA Annual Convention Awards Luncheon on Monday, November 5th, 2012 from 12:00pm–1:30pm in the Presidential CDE Ballroom at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
