Fort Campbell’s D.W. Recreation Center November Activities

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center will start November off with Elves at Work on November 4th at 2:00pm. This fun filled event will help get the recreation center ready for the holiday season by assisting us in decorating the building.

On November 12th, D.W. Recreation Center will be open celebrating Veterans’ Day and will be available for all of your recreational needs.

Bring the entire Family on November 11th and enjoy a Family friendly movie and free popcorn. The movie will begin at 2:00pm so arrive on time to get a good seat.

On November 18th at 3:00pm come play Prize Bingo. Bring the whole Family and join us for Bingo. Participants will play Bingo and the winners will receive prizes. There will be prizes suitable for children and adults. Children must be able to read their numbers to 75 in order to participate and play.

Come join us on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, from 11:00am until 8:00pm for tasty Thanksgiving treats. Special snacks and desserts will be served all day to satisfy your sweet tooth.

D.W. Recreation Center will finish the month with a Video Game Tournament on November 25th at 2:00pm. The tournament is open to all eligible MWR patrons; those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent while inside the recreation center. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.

As always, you are invited to participate in their recurring events: Watch WWE on Monday at 7:00pm; play in a 9-Ball Tournament on Monday at 7:00pm; Madden 12 Tournament on Tuesday at 7:00pm; Dart Tournament on Wednesday at 7:00pm; Spades Tournament on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Table Tennis Tournament on Friday at 7:00pm; and an 8-Ball Tournament on Saturday at 3:00pm.

D.W. Rec. is committed to providing Soldiers and Families a quality of life that is commensurate with their service through quality Recreation, Travel and Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) programs and services.

The BOSS program is proudly sponsored by USAA. The D.W. Recreation Center is located at 6145 Desert Storm Avenue. All eligible participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who remains present the entire time.
