The APSU Department of Art LogoClarksville, TN – Beth Liggett is the official photographer for Austin Peay State University, a photojournalist and an editorial and lifestyle photographer based in Clarksville.

“Photography, for me, represents a unique opportunity to capture and make immortal all those fleeting moments that frame our lives,” she said. “It’s creating a physical impression of someone or something that will never again be.”

This exhibit asks the audience to explore the intriguing dynamic between art and commercialism in Liggett’s portfolio.

The exhibition, curated by APSU students Jennifer Oliphant and Gabrielle Bomar, runs through December 7th, with a closing reception with the artist from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on December 6th in the APSU Morgan University Center lobby.
