Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is on scene at a Pond Apple Road residence in Clarksville, TN after a 46 old man is shot by a Clarksville Police Officer after presenting an imminent danger to the neighborhood and officers who had responded to a threats call.

Austin Peay Football’s Jake Ryan sets school record in Governors 38-23 loss to Jacksonville State Gamecocks

Jacksonville, AL – Despite a record-setting performance by Jake Ryan, Austin Peay State University could not stave off a Jacksonville State comeback as it fell to the Gamecocks, 38-23, Saturday in Ohio Valley Conference play at JSU Stadium.
APSU fell to 1-9 on the season, 0-7 in the OVC while Jacksonville State Improved to 6-4 and ended OVC play at 5-3.

The Lady Govs wrapped up their season with an Ohio Valley Conference defeat to league-leader Morehead State. Austin Peay expects a four-seed in the upcoming OVC Tournament which will be hosted in Morehead, KY.

The Lady Govs finished the regular season with a 17-15 overall record and 10-6 OVC mark. They will face a Tennessee State squad they defeated in four sets, October 27th, in Nashville, TN.
