Rosemont, IL – DePaul turned 18 first-half turnovers into 31 points as it rolled past Austin Peay State University, 98-67, Saturday afternoon in second-round action of the Triple Crown Cancun Challenge, played at Allstate Arena.
Tourney action will now move to the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun for the tourney’s final two days of action, beginning Tuesday.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department wants to make the public aware that there have been two incidents of vehicles traveling on I-24 westbound between mile marker 9 and 10 when their driver side windows were shattered.
On November 9th, 2012, around 1:00pm, a man from out of state was driving westbound on I-24 in an F-250 pickup westbound and when his driver side window was shattered between mile marker 9 and 10.
Clarksville, TN – Earlier this year, officials with Clarksville Academy brainstormed ways to improve communication with parents, current students and prospective students. They decided to create iCougar, an app for the Apple iPad and iPhone.
The idea was to make it a centralized digital location for information on the school, but then came the next question – how do you create an app?
Cunningham, TN – Montgomery Central High School’s KayCee Lindberg has signed with Union University. KayCee had a great year for Central.
She is the Region 5 champion, finished 4th at the State Tournament and was voted to the all state team.
KayCee and her parents were together with Coach Greg Lyle and Jeff Vaughn when she signed.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team continues its busy early signing period by adding Logan Gray, of Leawood, Kansas, via a national letter of intent, Friday.
Gray, a 6-1, 180-pound infielder, batted .395 with six triples and 22 RBI during his junior year as a shortstop and middle reliever at Rockhurst High School, which reached the 2012 Missouri Class 4A state quarterfinals. «Read the rest of this article»
