Clarksville Parks and Recreation Facilities to change Operating Hours for December Holidays

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s three community centers will adjust their hours of operation this December to accommodate students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and their holiday schedule.

The Kleeman Community Center, Crow Community Center and Burt-Cobb Community Center will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm beginning Thursday, December 20th and ending Friday, January 4th, 2013 as students will be out of school for the holiday break.

However, Centers will be closed Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas as well as Tuesday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day.

The Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will be open from 7:00am to 8:00pm on Friday, December 21st, Thursday, December 27th, Friday, December 28th and Monday, December 31st. The inflatable obstacle course, “The Aqua Run Wibit,” and the “AquaClimb” climbing wall will be available on both days.

Wristbands are required for access to these features. Cost of wristbands is $2.00 for all day access, with the exception of “Wibit Wednesdays” in which access is free each Wednesday. Tuesdays are “Dollar Day” at the pool when patrons are charged only $1.00 for admission.

The pool will be closed Monday, December 24th through Wednesday, December 26th in observance of Christmas as well as Tuesday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day.

Additionally the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office, located at 102 Public Square, will be closed Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.
