In her remarks, Lisa Vaughn, Executive Director of the college, stated that students found Chambers “firm but fair.”

“As an educator, few descriptors can be more complimentary,” she said. “There is a fine line that distinguishes a true educator from someone who teaches classes. Cindy Chambers has been identified as an individual who understands that to truly educate does not mean always doing what a student wants — but doing what is in their best interest.”

Chambers is a full time faculty member at the university, and also serves as the school’s PR Director. She teaches a variety of marketing and orientation classes, both online and at the Clarksville campus. She has been recognized for her timely and detailed feedback, and has been called “high-spirited and motivational” by her students, Vaughn said.

Bethel University’s College of Professional Studies has an enrollment of nearly 3,000 students in Tennessee and around the world. The school offers undergraduate management courses online and in the classroom, as well as the largest and fastest-growing MBA program in the state.
