Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s softball team never got a steady offensive threat going, Saturday afternoon at Cheryl Holt Field, as the Lady Govs were swept by Eastern Illinois in their Ohio Valley Conference openers, 6-2 and 7-1.

The tournaments are open to boys and girls ages 8-18, with each age group competing for their division title.

Officer Patrick Wyatt was the first officer to arrive and saw an intoxicated 66 year old man sitting on the porch of a West Washington Street (Klines Alley and West Washington Street intersect) residence holding a rifle.

Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Hospital. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.

Titans Owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. and the NFL Foundation recently awarded scholarship grants to elite Army units.
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans Owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. and the National Football League Foundation recently awarded $5,000 in grants to the scholarship funds for two of the Army’s proudest units.
One grant was made to the Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) S.O.A.R (A). That unit is more commonly known as the Night Stalkers and provides helicopter support for our nation’s special operations missions.
