The first Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate is scheduled to be completed Tuesday afternoon, only after the first round wraps up. Lightning and rain forced the halt of Monday’s first round at the Sevier Golf Club, with each team having anywhere from four-six holes, meaning most golfers still have more than 20 holes to play in the 36-hole event.

The tourney is being play on the par-71, 5,802-yard Highlands Course. In addition to the Lady Govs and host Tennessee Tech, four other Ohio Valley Conference schools-Murray State, Eastern Kentucky, Belmont and Tennessee State-are competing along with Evansville, Lee, Newberry, Northern Iowa, Northern Kentucky, Presbyterian and Southern Illinois.
