City of Clarksville reports Work to cause change in Traffic Flow on Madison Street and Third Street

Clarksville, TN – Beginning March 21st, 2013, the Clarksville Parking Authority, in conjunction with the Clarksville Street Department, will be making modifications to Third Street.

The modifications will include additional angled on-street parking between Madison Street and Commerce Street.

The change will reduce the number of lanes to one lane and will require moving a loading zone. In addition, an all-way stop condition will be installed at the intersection of Madison Street and 3rd Street and will include crosswalks and stop bars.

Please be aware this is a change from the current traffic control at this intersection. Construction will be complete within the next two weeks.
