Clarksville Police Department investigate overnight shooting at College Street night spot

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Police are investigating an overnight shooting which occurred around 3:32am outside of The Game Room located at 1352 College Street. There were several people outside of the club when Police arrived, but there was very little information provided to officers.

Based on the information gathered at the scene, the 61 year old man exited the club, a car pulled up and a man jumped out, and demanded the victim’s money. The 61 year old refused to give up his money, at which time, he was shot multiple times. The suspects did not get the victim’s money and fled from the scene in an unknown type vehicle.

Lifeflight transported the 61 year old man, in stable condition, to a Nashville hospital.

The suspect was described as a black male with a small afro, early 20s, light complexion, about 5’10, 175 lbs, wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.
