Harper began the week with a two-run single at nationally-ranked Mississippi State, giving the Govs an early lead, and was 1-for-4 at the plate.

The Murray State series began on a sour note as Harper was held hitless in the opener. However, he bounced back with five hits in the final two games. His three-run home run provided the game-winning runs in the Govs Game 2 victory. Harper finished the series by reaching base in all five plate appearances of Game 3, going 3-for-3 with a walk and a two-run single.

Harper is the fourth Governors player to earn adidas® OVC weekly honors. Senior pitcher Tyler Rogers has twice earned the league’s pitching honors (March 11th & 18th). Junior first baseman Craig Massoni was Player of the Week, March 4th, followed by senior outfielder Cody Hudson, March 11th.
