Graves, a 6-foot-2 forward/center from Clarksville, Tennessee (Clarksville High School), was the second-leading scorer (13.2) and top rebounder (8.0) for a Lady Vol squad that went 27-8, won the SEC regular-season championship and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight before bowing out to NCAA championship game participant Louisville.

Previously named the SEC Freshman of the Year by the coaches, SEC Newcomer of the Year by Associated Press and a first-team all-league selection by both, Graves shot 52.2% from the field and 70.1% from the free throw line. She posted 10 double-doubles during the campaign, which led all SEC rookies and tied her with Candace Parker for third all-time among freshman at Tennessee behind only Chamique Holdsclaw (16) and Sheila Frost (11).
