The Govs have won a program-record 14 straight matches dating back to Feb. 8th, and haven’t dropped more than two individual matches since March 16th against Eastern Kentucky. At 14-2, Austin Peay is the only OVC school above .500 for the season, but share a matching 7-0 conference mark with Tennessee Tech.

Four Govs (Sean Bailey, Jasmin Ademovic, Dimitar Ristovski and Aleksas Tverijonas) are on 10-match or better win streaks heading into this weekend. Tverijonas hopes to remain undefeated through the regular season; he currently stands at 15-0 during spring dual season. As a squad, the Govs are 34-4 in OVC singles matches this season.

Tennessee Tech (7-9, 7-0 OVC) lost nine straight to open the season, but turned it around in OVC play. The Golden Eagles are strong at the top of their lineup, with Syrym Abdukhalikov and Alejandro Augusto a combined 23-5 at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Vasily Eremeev is 7-4 at No. 3, and is on a six-match win streak.

Jacksonville State (9-12, 5-2 OVC) has had its share of ups and downs this year – after starting the dual by losing six of its first eight matches, the Gamecocks won three of their first four in OVC play to get out to solid footing in the conference standings. No. 1 player Igor Santos is 10-5 at the top spot, including a 6-1 mark in OVC play.
