Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work for Montgomery County area starting April 19th, 2013

Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – In Montgomery County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation will be doing resurfacing and bridge deck repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson County Line.

Starting Friday April 19th at 8:00pm through Sunday April 21st, 6:00pm, there will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound around LM 15.00 in order to pour concrete on bridge parapet rails.

On Monday April 22nd through Wednesday April 24th, from 8:00pm-6:00am, there will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound around LM 15.00 in order to perform bridge deck repair.

Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

On Friday April 19th through Wednesday April 24th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be periodic lane closures in both directions on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.

This will be a moving operation.

TDOT Maintenance – Middle Tennessee

On Friday April 19th through Wednesday April 24th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

On Friday April 19th through Wednesday April 24th, 9:00am-3:00pm and 7:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.

On Friday April 19th through Wednesday April 24th, from 8:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.

Robertson and Sumner Counties

On Friday April 19th through Wednesday April 24th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be periodic lane closures in both directions on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.

This will be a moving operation.

TDOT Bridge Repair – Davidson County

On Monday April 22nd, from 9:00am-3:00pm, the right lane will be closed on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) westbound between Exit 12: Opryland Hotel Convention Center/Music Valley Dr./McGavock Dr. and Exit 14A: Gallatin Pike/Madison for bridge inspection.

Three lanes will remain open.

Humphreys County

Tuesday April 16th, 6:00pm-1:00am, the left lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound at the 144.5 mile marker to clean up a diesel fuel spill due to a truck wreck last week. One lane will remain open.
