Clarksville Police Department reports Attempted Kidnapping, Issues Citizen Advisory

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is currently investigating an alleged Attempted Kidnapping of an 11 year old boy that occurred this morning in the Paradise Hill Road, and Hietts Lane area.

Allegedly an unknown White, Male jumped out from the bushes and attempted to pull the young boy into a minivan. The young boy was able to escape after striking the man in the head with a stick.

The description is a White, Male in his late 20’s or early 30’s. The Suspect has freckles and Red Hair that is cut in a Flat Top style haircut. He was wearing a black sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and Gray/White/ Black Nike Tennis Shoes. The Suspect also possibly has a Dragon Tattoo on his arm.

The vehicle is described as a Green (Beat UP)  Minivan with a pointed front and a Hatchback style rear with a lift gate style back door.

We are asking the public to call 911 if they see the vehicle or suspect so an Officer can attempt to make contact an conduct a Field Interview of the Suspect. Please remember that this is an active investigation at this time, and no charges are pending at this time.
