John Wesley Carney III is not being sought by the Clarksville Police Department

Clarksville, TN – As the result of a clerical error, Clarksville Online mistakenly published a story stating that the Clarksville Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation were still seeking John Wesley Carney III in relation to a Home Invasion that occurred on May 3rd.

Carney has been in the Clarksville-Montgomery County Jail since being arrested on May 3rd 2013. Clarksville Online apologizes for any inconvenience that this may have caused either the Carney Family, the Law Firm of Fletcher Long, Long & Herbison, or John Wesley Carney III.

This is the first time something of this nature has occurred since Clarksville Online began publishing in 2006, and we will take steps to insure that a mistake of this nature will not happen in the future. Once again we apologize for any inconvenience.
