Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work for Montgomery County area starting Friday June 7th, 2013

Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – On Friday, June 7th through Wednesday, June 12th, from 9:00am until 3:00pm, the Tennessee Department of Transportation will do intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 374 between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0 for milling, paving, and striping roadway in Montgomery County.

This work will be done by Floating Maintenance.

Montgomery County

TDOT will be doing resurfacing and bridge deck repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson County Line.

  • Friday, June 7th through Wednesday June 12th, 8:00pm-6:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway.
  • Friday, June 7th, 8:00pm through Monday June 10th, 6:00am, there will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to texture coat the parapet on the bridge.

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

On Friday, June 7th, through Wednesday, June 12th, 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Cheatham County

On Friday June 7th through Wednesday, June 12th, 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 249 between mile marker 22.8 and mile marker 24.0 (Bear Wallow Road) for milling, paving, and striping roadway.

This work will be done by Floating Maintenance and McIntosh Construction Company.

Davidson County

On Friday June 7th through Wednesday June 12th, 9:00am-3:00pm and 7:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.

All lanes will remain open.

Humphreys County, Hickman County and Dickson County

On Monday June 10th and Tuesday June 11th, 6:00pm-11:00pm, the left lane will be closed on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys, Hickman and Dickson Counties for slope mowing.

One lane will remain open.

Robertson County

On Tuesday June 11th through Friday June 28th, the I-65 southbound Weigh-Station (mile marker 119.0) will be closed (No Entrance) for repair to the concrete and for milling, paving and striping the roadway at the scales.

This work will be done by Floating Maintenance and LoJac Enterprises.
