Greg Adams to join Governor’s Staff July 8th
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam today announced Greg Adams will join the governor’s senior team as chief operating officer.
In the governor’s ongoing effort to make Tennessee the best managed state in the nation, Adams’ role will be to work with state departments to ensure they’re operating in the most efficient and effective way possible.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans are inviting fans to come out an attend 12 of the teams 2013 training camp practices. The first practice open to fans is Friday, July 26th going from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at the Baptist Sports Park.
Once again this year the Titans will conduct training camp practices at Baptist Sports Park, where the vast majority of the team’s camps have been conducted since the team moved to Tennessee in 1997.

The 1245th Transportation Company, 1034th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, gear-up daily to support Task Force Lifeliner, which is charged with the sustainment of the warfighter, all while supporting the retrograde mission.
Metairie, LA – The Nashville Sounds rallied to overcome five home runs delivered by the New Orleans Zephyrs Tuesday afternoon at Zephyr Field to win the series finale 7-5.
Down 4-2 in the eighth, the Sounds worked the bases loaded with no outs to spark the beginning of their late-game rally. Catcher Anderson De La Rosa cut the Z’s lead to one by nubbing an RBI ground out to first base, scoring Hainley Statia, who singled to lead off the frame.

The Federal Open Market Committee left short-term interest rates unchanged, did not alter its forward guidance on the overnight lending rate, and said it would maintain its asset purchase program at $85 billion per month. The policy statement was a near photocopy of the previous one.
The FOMC indicated that recent inflation readings have been low due partly to “transitory influences.” The downside risks to the outlook for growth and the labor market had “diminished” since the fall. Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds return to Greer Stadium on Thursday, June 27th, for their sixth homestand of the season: a seven-day, eight-game stretch in which the team welcomes the Oklahoma City RedHawks (Houston Astros affiliate) for five games spanning June 27th-30th and the Round Rock Express for a three-gamer (Texas Rangers affiliate) from July 1st-3rd.
This free program for all ages. The program will be put on three times on Saturday, 11:00am, 2:00pm and 5:00pm.
The event will take place at the cool entrance to Dunbar Cave.

Clarksville, TN – The Office of Public Relations and Marketing at Austin Peay State University won nine awards during the Tennessee College Public Relations Association (TCPRA) spring conference and awards contest held Thursday, June 13th and Friday, June 14th at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville Tennessee.
