Nonprofit Partnership Network to host Nonprofit Connect & Learn Session at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library July 10th

Hands On Clarksville - Nonprofit Partnership NetworkClarksville, TN – The Nonprofit Partnership Network has partnered with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to present “Giving Matters.com,” on July 10th, 2013 from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the small meeting room at the Clarksville Montgomery County Library.

The learning session will teach participants how to use and benefit from the “Giving Matters.com” website. This resource is operated by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and it empowers local philanthropy by putting information about Middle Tennessee nonprofits at the fingertips of potential donors and volunteers.

The website is a publicly accessible online database that houses in-depth transparent information provided directly by Middle Tennessee nonprofits.

Presenters will teach participants how to initiate, complete and maintain a profile on the website, and provide tips and tricks for incorporating the profile into an organization’s overall marketing and development strategy.

Participants attending the workshop will also have an opportunity to learn about the 2013 CFMT Discretionary Grant application. The CFMT Grants Coordinator will be on hand to answer any questions regarding this year’s grant funding.

All grant applicants must have a “Giving Matters” profile. The Connect & Learn Sessions are free, but pre-registration is required. The July session is limited to the first 25 participants.
