Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park draws large crowd at Liberty Park

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 29th, Clarksville Parks and Recreation hosted Movies in the Park at Liberty Park for the first time. The movie for the night was “Lincoln” rated PG-13 and it drew a huge crowd to the park.

Abraham Lincoln made and appearance with his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln. They greeted everyone that passed by and posed for pictures with attendees.

The concessions at the event included sweet tea and biscuits provided by Bojangles.

Before the movie started, the kids were invited to take part in the “Move before the Movies” Tae Kwon Do activity. The YMCA of Clarksville sponsors “Move before the Movies”.

If you did not make it to Movies in the Park this time, you’re in luck. On July 13th, Clarksville Parks and Recreation will be showing Despicable Me rated PG at Liberty Park.
