Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Sewer Rehabilitation Work Scheduled for July 8th-12th, 2013

Clarksville, TN – Ongoing sewer rehabilitation contract work in North Clarksville will continue next week, July 8th-13th, 2013, on Hallbrook Drive and Virginia Terrace.

Clarksville Gas and Water contractors notify customers in advance by letter and door hanger of the upcoming work to be performed on their street and how they can help with the process.

The sewer rehab work requires temporarily sealing of customer sewer connections to the main line so residents are asked to limit water and toilet use or any activity that would send water into household drains and sewer lines.

These measures will help avoid sewer backups in homes while the necessary work is performed.
