Nashville Sounds blasted by Albuquerque Isotopes, 10-1

 

Nashville SoundsAlbuquerque, NM – The Nashville Sounds allowed a season-high 18 hits in Tuesday night’s 10-1 loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes. The loss gives the ‘Topes the series win with still one game remaining in the three-game set at Isotopes Park.

Sounds starting pitcher Chris Narveson (2-5) had a rough night, allowing nine runs to the Isotopes over 4 1/3 innings. He allowed 12 hits to Albuquerque batters, the most surrendered by a Sounds pitcher this season, to take his fifth loss. He fanned one and walked one.

LBL to host Public Meetings to Discuss Road System

 

Land Between the Lakes - LBLGolden Pond, KY – Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area will host three informational public meetings to discuss their road system.

Nationally, the USDA Forest Service is required to identify National Forest System roads no longer needed to meet forest resource management objectives. Transportation Analysis Process (TAP) provides a critical first step towards the development of proposed actions towards the future “minimum road system.”

Nashville Sounds begin Four-Game Homestand Thursday, July 11th

 

Featuring 2 Fireworks Shows, 2 Giveaways and the I-40 Cup Series Finale

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN –  The Nashville Sounds return to Greer Stadium on Thursday, July 11th, for their seventh homestand of the season. The stand will feature one four-game series against the cross-state rival Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals affiliate) spanning July 11th-14th.

The series will be the finale of the four-part Tennessee Lottery I-40 Cup Series, which is currently knotted at six wins apiece between the two clubs. Whoever wins the most games in the season series will be awarded the silver I-40 Cup. Nashville is the current holder, winning 9-7 in 2012. The Sounds will retain the cup with a season series spilt.

Roxy Regional Theatre brings “South Pacific” to Clarksville this Summer, July 12th – August 17th

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation puts Reward on Newest TBI Top Ten Most Wanted

 

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation - TBINashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is adding a Nashville man wanted on various charges in two different counties to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list in an effort to locate him and take him into custody.

Tyler Fitzgerald Raybon-Tate, 33, last known address 720 Vanderhorst Drive, is wanted out of Rutherford County for aggravated burglary as well as being wanted in Davidson County for aggravated kidnapping, carjacking, evading arrest, failure to appear and two counts of violating community corrections.
