Clarksville Police execute Search Warrant Early this Morning and find Crack Cocaine

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) and the Tactical Team executed a Narcotics Search Warrant in the early morning hours (5:45am) of July 13th, 2013.

The warrant was executed at 706 Peachers Drive Apartment #D, the residence of Phillip Anthony Monroe Jr. {AKA “Weezy”}.  Upon execution of the warrant agents discovered a felony amount of “Crack” cocaine and associated drug paraphernalia.

Also present in the residence were Monroe’s girlfriend and her 13 year old daughter, neither of which have been charged at this time.

Monroe was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on charges of Possession of Cocaine for Re-Sale and Unlawful drug Paraphernalia and given a bond of $16,000.

The offense occurred well within 1000 feet of Byrns Darden Elementary School. Monroe has a lengthy history of drug offenses and is currently on probation for those offenses.
