Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) and the Tactical Team executed a Narcotics Search Warrant in the early morning hours (5:45am) of July 13th, 2013.
The warrant was executed at 706 Peachers Drive Apartment #D, the residence of Phillip Anthony Monroe Jr. {AKA “Weezy”}. Upon execution of the warrant agents discovered a felony amount of “Crack” cocaine and associated drug paraphernalia.
Monroe was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on charges of Possession of Cocaine for Re-Sale and Unlawful drug Paraphernalia and given a bond of $16,000.
The offense occurred well within 1000 feet of Byrns Darden Elementary School. Monroe has a lengthy history of drug offenses and is currently on probation for those offenses.
